Sciatic nerve pain is characterized by pain that spreads alongside the sciatic nerve, glowing into the buttocks as well as the back of your leg, down to your very foot. In some cases, sciatic nerve pain is caused by inflammation due to arthritis, or by pinching the sciatic nerve due to a tumor enveloping the spinal cord in the lumbar region.
The spinal cord is a flexible cluster of nerves that originate at the base of the brain and run along the middle of the back. This is the main route of communication between the brain and the rest of the body. The spinal cord is, therefore, protected by the vertebral column (composed of the vertebrae).

To relieve the pain and to ignite the affected area, a good option is to prepare a hops poultice, which is done by boiling this herb for 10 minutes and then coating it in a gauze.
