This is part 2 of the sciatic nerve stretches for those suffering with a bulging or herniated disc. Other conditions causing this type of sciatica are spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis.

Here we are talking about the tethering of the nerve, which causes micro trauma and with it scarring developing, resulting in the loss of elasticity of the sciatic nerve.

When the nerve tightens it will cause ongoing leg pain, eventhough maybe the bulging of the disc has diminished again or the herniated disc may have been resolved by itself or through surgery in some cases.
